Soil testing services

A soil test is recommended when you start a garden or establish a farm.  Most cultivated soil has been amended in the past, in ways you may not know.

We offer soil testing through Australian Perry Laboratories.  You will receive a full report with recommendations if you submit a soil test through Shades of Green Australia.  Water quality and leaf testing is also available.

Do I need soil testing before I fertilise?

You don’t need soil testing to safely use Shades of Green garden, lawn, and special rural blends.  Just follow the instructions and information on bags.
