About us
Redressing the decline in food chain nutrient density
We all understand that our family, livestock and pets require a sustained balance of nutrition to safeguard our health. Unfortunately the majority of our food today has been de-natured for various reasons, including the fact that they are grown on infertile soils.
Globally, we see a relentless depletion of mineral levels in our agricultural farmlands with a concurrent depletion in the nutrient density of our food supplies. Rising levels of pollution challenge our environment, food, and water.
Despite extraordinary advances in technology and medicine, we live with a pandemic of chronic degenerative illness, especially cancer, in people and animals.
Shades of Green’s products supplement soils and animal fodder to boost and rebalance the nutrients essential for good health.
The Shades of Green team - a collaboration of concerned professionals
Shades of Green and their team collaborate with horticulturalists, turf specialists, agronomists, animal nutritionists and philanthropists working in the commercial sector. Together, they aim to develop products and systems that are both sustainable and environmentally responsible. They are closely supported by Hi-Tech Ag Solutions (a commercial agricultural nutrition manufacturer) who provide the science and technology behind each product.

Our history - building on original science
Thousands of soil and plant tissue tests conducted via an accredited Australian agricultural testing laboratory, revealed the many nutrient deficiencies present in Australian soils. These test results were gathered by Paul Freeman who has provided hands on agronomy advise to the broadacre farming sector for over a decade. It is against this background that the Shades Of Green range of environmentally responsible fertilisers were birthed.
Further research and extensive scientific trials, including nutrient leaching trials conducted by a WA Land Care group, has resulted in the current range of Shades of Green products. These products will enable the re-balancing of our soils and allow the grow of nutritional food to supplementing our diets and redress our nutrient deficiencies.
